With multiple locations spanning from the Bronx and Queens to Suffolk County, our health care experts are available and prepared to put your health first.
New York Health is looking for a highly motivated Ultrasound Director to oversee our growing OBGYN ultrasound team.
This this role you will:
Manager for the daily operation of ultrasound at all OBGYN locations.
Carefully follow and understand all company policies and procedures.
Maintain and or apply for site appropriate accreditation.
Experience with AIUM a plus.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform and document maintenance on all ultrasound machines and other associated equipment.
Assure that all emergent tests are performed in an expedited manner.
Assist providers with all outpatient OBGYN related procedures/biopsies.
Train new staff in all exams performed.
Demonstrate excellent communication and organization skills.
We require:
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent.
ARDMS (OBGYN) certification.
Minimum 5 years relevant OBGYN and supervisor/lead experience.
Bachelors/Associates Degree preferred.
Working knowledge of all basic computer applications.
